HC Deb 03 November 1930 vol 244 c478
85. Lieut.-Colonel WINDSOR-CLIVE

asked the Attorney-General what steps have been taken by Majesty's Land Registry to bring to the immediate notice of building societies the advantages of registration of property under the Act of 1925?

The LORD ADVOCATE (Mr. Craigie Aitchison)

I have been asked to reply. My hon. Friend has no reason to suppose that building societies are not fully aware of their powers in this respect, and he does not think that any useful purpose would be served in adopting the suggestion contained in the question.
