§ The UNDER-SECRETARY of STATE for the COLONIES (Dr. Drummond Shiels)The recommendations contained in this report are important and far-reaching. They will require careful consideration, and in many cases consultation with the Colonial Governments. In so far, however, as they affect the organisation of the Colonial Office, my Noble Friend the Secretary of State has accepted generally the Committee's recommendations, and proposes to give effect to them in due course as circumstances permit.
§ Mr. ORMSBY-GOREAre we to understand that a Supplementary Estimate will probably be presented for the new staff at the Colonial Office?
