§ Mr. JOHNSTONThe total amount of State subsidies paid by the Department of Health on Scottish housing from May, 1912 to the 31st March, 1930 was £10,161,199. Of this amount £1,625,672 was paid during the financial year ended the 31st March, 1930. As regards the last part of the question, the estimated expenditure for the financial year to 31st March, 1931 is £1,772,232.
