HC Deb 20 May 1930 vol 239 c202
29. Mr. C. WILLIAMS

asked the Lord Privy Seal whether the applications of the Southern Railway Company in respect of port developments on their system cover all the ports under the company's jurisdiction where developments or improvements are necessary; and, if not, whether he will represent to the railway company the desirability of including all schemes recommended by the Ports Facilities Committee in connection with undertakings under their control to enable the Government to deal with their applications in a simple and comprehensive manner?

Mr. THOMAS

If the hon. Member will furnish me with particulars of the ports he has in mind, I will be glad to look into the matter.
