Major GRAHAM POLEasked the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies whether the standard rates of wages for Indian labourers agreed upon by the Government of India and the authorities in Malaya for the two different areas in the country and already brought into force in the province of Wellesley and the inland districts of Pahang, which were selected as the key districts representing the two classes of areas, are now being extended to the corresponding districts in the rest of Malaya?
