asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he is now in a position to give any further information regarding the ownership of Jan Mayen Island?

Mr. A. HENDERSON
Discussions on this subject are still proceeding with the Norwegian Government.

§ Commander SOUTHBY
If I put down another question in, say, a month, will the right hon. Gentleman be able to give me any further information?

Mr. HENDERSON
That will depend on the time within which I receive the reply.
