I beg to move, in page 2, line 8, after the word "child", to insert the words: or in any action for aliment for an illegitimate child.

On a point of Order. I had Amendments down to leave out Sub-sections (2), (3) and (4) of the last Clause.

I did not select those Amendments.

Mr. ADAMSON

The Government think this Amendment is necessary, and I hope that the promoters of the Bill will accept it.
