HC Deb 15 May 1930 vol 238 cc2044-5
54. Mr. GRAHAM WHITE

asked the President of the Board of Education what steps are being taken to give effect to the recommendations of the Committee on Education for Salesmanship?

Sir C. TREVELYAN

The Committee on Education for Salesmanship have as yet presented an interim report only, and this does not contain any recommendations calling for action by the Board of Education. I understand that, though the Committee hope shortly to present a second interim report dealing with modern languages, they will reserve their conclusions and recommendations for their final report, which will deal with the subject matter of their inquiry as a whole.
