asked the Under-Secretary of State for Air which light aeroplane clubs to which no subsidy has been given in the past have applied for subsidy under the new regulations; and in which cases these application have been approved?

Mr. MONTAGUE

The hitherto unsubsidised clubs from which applications have been received are Leicestershire, Northaanptonshire and Southern Aero Clubs and the Household Brigade Flying Club. The applications of the two first-named clubs have been approved.
