HC Deb 08 May 1930 vol 238 c1132
82. Mr. DAY

asked the Minister of Transport whether his advisers consider that the traffic experiments which have been made at Piccadilly Circus have proved satisfactory; and whether any decision has been arrived at as to the final position of Eros?

The MINISTER of TRANSPORT (Mr. Herbert Morrison)

Certain further alterations to the islands in Piccadilly Circus have been proposed with a view to facilitating the movement of traffic, and so soon as this position has been finally settled the question of the position of the Shaftesbury Memorial will be considered.

Mr. SEXTON

Will it not be for the convenience of his colleagues if they review the position of the hon. Member himself on the Question Paper?
