HC Deb 06 May 1930 vol 238 c746
21. Captain P. MACDONALD

asked the President of the Board of Trade what is the purpose of the subscription of the British Government to the International Institute of Refrigeration; and for what objects the institute exists

Mr. W. GRAHAM

This subscription is payable towards the expenses of the institute under an International Convention signed in 1920, to which His Majesty's Government are parties. The objects of the institute are broadly the promotion of the study of refrigeration problems and the distribution of information on the subject. I am sending the hon. and gallant Member a copy of the Convention, which will give him further particulars.
