§ Sir A. SINCLAIRSurely, we can have some decision on this vitally important question soon? If the banks will not support the right hon. Gentleman, is it not possible for his own Government to come forward and finance this scheme? Is he not aware that it is urgently required in Scotland?
Mr. ADAMSONI can assure the hon. and gallant Member that I am just as anxious as he is that the matter should be disposed of, and I have tried more than one source.
§ Mr. SKELTONWill the right hon. Gentleman undertake, if the banks will not assist, to bring in an alternative scheme at an early date?
§ Sir A. SINCLAIRCan the right hon. Gentleman say when it is likely that we shall have any news in regard to this matter, because it is a matter of great importance to Scotland?
