§ 74. Mr. RAMSBOTHAMasked the Minister of Health whether he has received any protests from agricultural societies regarding the order he recently issued, prohibiting the exhibition at agricultural shows of animals from tuberculin-tested herds; and, if so, whether, in view of the hardship caused by the imposition of this order, he will reconsider the advisability of introducing it?
§ Mr. GREENWOODYes, Sir. I have been informed that some of the bodies responsible for the organisation of agricultural shows are now prepared to arrange for the segregation of animals belonging to licensed tuberculin-tested herds, and I have promised to see their representatives with a view to considering the withdrawal of the prohibition in the case of shows where effective provision is made for this purpose.
