Proposals under this Section subsequently approved by the Board have been submitted by the following numbers of authorities during the last eight years: 6; 6; nil; 1; 11; 8; 7; 6. Arrangements usually remain in force for several years without further approval by the Board.
Dr. DAVIESDoes the President of the Board of Education think local authorities are taking full advantage of the provisions of this Act; and can he take some steps to draw their attention to the powers they have in dealing with the case of these children?
