Gentleman will appreciate that negotiations among the large number of interests involved must of necessity be delicate and prolonged, and that it is not possible to give information as to the negotiations which are in progress.
§ Sir K. WOODIs any further action contemplated, and does the right hon. Gentleman propose to undertake another mission to Canada this year?
§ Mr. THOMASIf I felt that the success attending my mission to Canada would be as successful as is indicated by the fact that within the last few hours, I am informed, 40,000 tons of bituminous coal have been shipped to Canada for the first time, I would certainly take that step.
