§ 51. Sir OSWALD MOSLEYasked the Prime Minister whether an opportunity will be provided before the end of the Session for a discussion of the proposals which the Government will lay before the 1605 Imperial Economic Conference, irrespective of such proposals involving legislation?
§ The PRIME MINISTERIt has already been explained to the House that the Agenda of the Imperial Conference is a matter to be settled in consultation with His Majesty's Governments in the Dominions, and this consultation is still proceeding. I shall hope to be in a position to give the House an outline of the Agenda both on the political and the economic side before the end of the Session. If there be a desire to discuss the matter it can be raised on Supply according to previous custom, or on the Appropriation Bill.
§ Mr. REMERIn Committee of Supply are we not prohibited from discussing a large number of cases which must arise at the Imperial Conference?
§ The PRIME MINISTERThat is so. In Supply, the question can only be raised partially, but not in the other case.
