HC Deb 30 June 1930 vol 240 cc1600-1
57. Viscount WOLMER

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether he has any proposals to make for the benefit of agriculture in addition to those brought forward by his predecessor; and, if so, when he proposes to lay them before Parliament?

Dr. ADDISON

I have under consideration a number of proposals in addition to those brought forward by my predecessor, but I am not able to-day to say when proposals will be brought before Parliament.

Viscount WOLMER

Are we to understand that the right hon. Gentleman is faithfully following the policy of his predecessor?

Dr. ADDISON

Quite the contrary.

Mr. ALBERY

Is the right hon. Gentleman aware that the hon. and gallant Member for Central Hull (Lieut.-Commander Kenworthy) has already given definite information?
