§ The MINISTER of AGRICULTURE (Dr. Addison)The scholars in question are selected by a Central Scholarships Committee on the qualifications, both general and educational, of eligible candidates as revealed, first by a careful examination of the information available concerning each candidate and then by interviews with a selected number. There is no examination test apart from the interview.
§ Mr. GRANVILLEWill the right hon. Gentleman give full publicity to that statement in the rural areas of the country?
§ Dr. ADDISONYes. I have given the greatest possible publicity to it, but, if the hon. Member can suggest any useful way of making it more widely known, I shall be glad to consider it.
