§ Dr. SHIELSThe Governor has decided to appoint a commission to consider proposals for railway development in Tanganyika with special reference to the reports mentioned. I am glad to be able to say that Sir Sydney Henn, K.B.E., has consented to be chairman.
§ Mr. ORMSBY-GOREAm I to understand that the committee under Sir Sydney Henn will report to the Colonial Development Committee, under Sir Basil Blackett?
§ Dr. SHIELSIt will report to the Governor, who will communicate with us and ultimately, no doubt, it will go before the Colonial Development Committee through the Colonial Office.
