asked the Postmaster-General how many rural post offices and railway stations in Northern Ireland have now been provided with telephones since April, 1929?

Up to the end of last month, the figures are: 73 rural post offices and 23 rural railway stations, making a total of 96.

asked the Postmaster-General how many telegraph offices have been opened in the County Tyrone in the last 10 years?

Mr. LEES-SMITH

One new telegraph office was opened in County Tyrone during the period in question.

In view of that fact, will the hon. Gentleman consider sym- pathetically representations from local bodies for one additional office in the next 10 years?
