Mr. A. HENDERSONThe French Ambassador has recently mentioned the matter. As regards the second part of the question, I regret that I am not yet able to give a definite reply. The question of submitting the matter to arbitration is under active consideration by His Majesty's Government.

Mr. HENDERSONI am afraid I cannot. There are other Departments involved. I hope the hon. and gallant Gentleman will allow the matter to stand over.
