HC Deb 23 June 1930 vol 240 c796
47. Sir K. WOOD

asked the Prime Minister which Minister will particularly deal with the relations of industry to the unemployment position and engage himself in the work previously carried on by the present Secretary of State for Dominion Affairs when he held the office of Lord Privy Seal?

The late Lord Privy Seal will carry out the work he began in promoting the economic reorganisation of those industries which require this treatment. Otherwise questions dealing with unemployment will be answered as was done previously by the Departments concerned.

Has the Prime Minister been able to re-arrange the Governmental offices in such a manner, as he suggested, that no extra charge is thrown upon the public in salaries of Ministers?

That does not arise out of the question.
