HC Deb 06 June 1930 vol 239 c2552
42. Mr. HACKING

asked the Prime Minister when he expects to receive a report from the Legislative and Judicial Powers of Departments Committee?

Mr. CLYNES

I have been asked to reply. I understand that the Committee has collected a great quantity of material, has sat several times, and has examined a number of witnesses. But the subject matter of the inquiry is intricate and difficult, and my right hon. Friend is not in a position to give any indication as to the date on which the report of the Committee may be expected.
