HC Deb 04 June 1930 vol 239 cc2146-7
44. Mr. GOULD

asked the Minister of Transport whether his attention has been directed to a fatal accident at Radstock where a boy was killed by a passing motor coach on the county bridge; if he is aware of the danger to pedestrians at that point due to the existence of two railway level crossings over the bridge; and what steps he proposes to take in this matter?

Mr. HERBERT MORRISON

I have received a report from my divisional road engineer with regard to this unfortunate accident and am taking the matter up with the county council and the railway companies with a view to measures being taken to add to the safety of pedestrians at this point.
