§ The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the ADMIRALTY (Mr. Ammon)The total number of employés in the shipbuilding and ship-repairing departments (Vote 8) of Portsmouth Yard is 10,903 and the approximate numbers employed on productive work and on indirect services are as follow:
Productive work 7,580 Indirect services 3,323 Total 10,903
Captain HALLIs the hon. Gentleman aware that this is an increase on the number employed under the late Government?
