Resolved, That the Special Order made by the Electricity Commissioners under the Electricity (Supply) Acts, 1882 to 1928, and confirmed by the Minister of Transport under the Electricity (Supply) Act, 1919, in respect of the rural district of Alresford and parts of the rural district of Droxford and Winchester, in the county of Southampton, which was presented on the 8th day of July, 1930, be approved.

Resolved, That the Special Order made by the Electricity Commissioners under the Electricity (Supply) Acts, 1882 to 1928, and confirmed 'by the Minister of Transport under the Electricity (Supply) Act, 1919, in respect of the parish of Whitwell, in the rural district of Clown, in the county of Derby, which was presented on the 8th day of July, 1930, be approved.

Resolved, That the Special Order made by the Electricity Commissioners under the Electricity (Supply) Acts, 1882 to 1928, and confirmed by the Minister of Transport under the Electricity (Supply) Act, 1919, in respect of parts of the rural districts of Aylsham, Depwade, Loddon, and Clavering Mitford and Launditch St. Faith's and Small-burgh, all in the county of Norfolk, which was presented on the 10th day of July, 1930, be approved.

Resolved, That the Special Order made by the Electricity Commissioners under the Electricity (Supply) Acts, 1882 to 1928, and confirmed by the Minister of Transport under the Electricity (Supply) Act, 1919, in respect of the urban district of Silsden, in the West Riding of the county of York, which was presented on the 17th day of July, 1930, be approved.

Resolved, That the Special Order made by the Electricity Commissioners under the Electricity (Supply) Acts, 1882 to 1928, and confirmed by the Minister of Transport under the Electricity (Supply) Act, 1919, in respect of the compulsory acquisition of lands for a transforming station in the parish and Metropolitan borough of St. Pancras, in the county of London, which was pre- sented on the 16th day of July, 1930, be approved.

Resolved, That the Special Order made by the Electricity Commissioners under the Electricity (Supply) Acts, 1882 to 1928, and confirmed by the Minister of Transport under the Electricity (Supply) Act, 1919, in respect of the urban districts of Arleedon and Frizington, Aspatria, Cockermouth, Harrington, Holme Cultram, Maryport, and Wigton, the rural districts of Alstone-with-Garrigill, Cockermouth, Penrith, and Wigton, and part of the rural district of White-haven, all in the county of Cumberland, which was presented on the 16th day of July, 1930, he approved, subject to the following additions and amendments:— Page 5, line 37, delete "and. Page 5, after Clause 12 (2) (ii), insert the following:— (iii) such sums as are, in the opinion of the Electricity Commissioners, reasonable and proper to enable the company to liquidate the value of any plant, mains, and other works which form part of the undertaking under this Order and which shall have become obsolete: and. Page 5, line 38, delete "iii)," and insert "iv). Page 5, line 39, after the word "exceeding," insert "(except with the consent of the Electricity Commissioners)."—[Mr. Herbert Morrison.]
