Mr. ORMSBY-GOREasked the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies whether any decision has been reached and, if so, what, as to how unofficial representatives of the economic interests of the Colonies, Protectorates, and Mandated Territories will be associated with the Secretary of State for the Colonies on the economic side of the forthcoming Imperial Conference?
§ Dr. SHIELSMy Noble Friend proposes to invite a certain number of unofficials with special knowledge and experience of the economic interests of the Colonies to serve on a panel, members of which will hold themselves available for consultation on economic questions as and when required.
