asked the Under-Secretary of State for Air whether a public court of inquiry is to be held to inquire into the cause of the recent accident to an air liner at Meopham?

Mr. MONTAGUE

My Noble Friend will not be in a position to decide whether a formal investigation by a court should be held until the preliminary investigation by the Inspector of Accidents has been completed.

Captain BALFOUR

If a public court of inquiry is held, will the findings be published?

Mr. MONTAGUE

That is another question.
