§ Mr. LANSBURYAs I have already explained to the House, the wall and the vallum are in no danger. The quarrying has not yet begun and as the House is aware, I have under preparation a Bill which will give adequate powers for the protection of the wall and the surroundings. It is unlikely that any appreciable amount of quarrying can be carried out before amending legislation is introduced.
§ Mr. HURDMay I take it that the right hon. Gentleman is satisfied that all that is possible is being done in the interim?
