HC Deb 28 July 1930 vol 242 c110
Dr. ADDISON

I beg to move, in page 16, line 10, at the end, to insert the words or if the jurisdiction of the Commissioners extends into a catchment area, for depriving them of their powers outside the catchment area. This is a case where an area may lay outside the catchment area, and in order to make clear the extent of the jurisdiction of the catchment board, these words are thought to be necessary. I am advised that instead of the words "depriving them of," the word "abrogating," should be substituted.

Amendment to proposed Amendment made: Leave out the words "depriving them of," and insert instead thereof the word "abrogating."—[Dr. Addison.] Proposed words, as amended, there inserted in the Bill.
