Certain local authority associations have represented that local authorities ought to be in a position to institute prosecutions for offences under this part of the Measure and these Amendments give effect to this request.
§ Colonel ASHLEYAs we have a large number of Amendments on the Order Paper, may I suggest that the hon. Gentleman the Minister of Transport should, where he considers it to be necessary, give us reasons why various Amendments should be passed?
