§ Miss BONDFIELDThe inquiries by my Department with regard to wages in 1445 the boot and shoe trade in East London are still in progress, and will not be completed for some little time. The question of unhealthy conditions of labour is one for the Home Office.
§ Mr. MALONEIs the Minister satisfied that adequate inspection has taken place?
§ Miss BONDFIELDThat is one of the points which are being investigated.
