asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether the Government has yet reached a decision on the question of submitting to arbitration, as requested by the French Government, the dispute regarding the con- cession to utilise the Dead Sea salts?

Mr. A. HENDERSON

Yes, Sir. I have informed the French Ambassador that His Majesty's Government are prepared, if his Government accept certain conditions, to refer this question to arbitration.

Will this arbitration take place at The Hague?

Mr. HENDERSON

I must have notice of that question.
