HC Deb 10 July 1930 vol 241 cc628-9
80. Mr. R. RUSSELL

asked the Minister of Agriculture if some thousands of pathological specimens which are of great value on account of their rarity, have been destroyed at the Royal Veterinary College, London; and whether he proposes to make any inquiry into this loss to veterinary education and research?

Dr. ADDISON

I am not aware that the position is as stated in the first part of the question. According to my information, certain specimens at the college were destroyed as they were no longer in good condition. I understand that the Governors of the college have already considered this question, and I can scarcely intervene in the matter.
