§ Mr. GILLETT (Secretary, Overseas Trade Department)The Overseas Trade Development Council have been giving special consideration to the question of economic missions as a means of assisting the export trade of this country. Various proposals are being examined, and I hope it will be possible to make a definite announcement in the near future.
§ Mr. MANDERIn view of the fact that the hon. Gentleman gave exactly the same reply about six months ago, is it not possible for him to say when a decision is likely to be reached?
§ Mr. GILLETTThe hon. Member has overlooked the fact that I have already announced that a mission is to be sent to the Far East. That announcement was made less than six months ago.
