HC Deb 08 July 1930 vol 241 c362

Amendment made: In page 49, line 12, leave out the words "has been made."—[Miss Lawrence.]

Miss LAWRENCE

I beg to move, in page 49, line 17, after the word "scheme" to insert the words: and, in the case of London, proceedings for the acquisition of additional land under Section fifty-five of the principal Act). This Amendment is inserted to preserve the power of the London County Council under Section 55 of the principal Act to buy additional land in connection with schemes already approved by the Minister. It is only intended to keep the provisions of Section 55 alive for existing schemes.

Amendment agreed to.
