I beg to move, in page 5, line 19, at the end, to insert the words: so soon as may be, cause every building thereon to be vacated and. This Amendment and the Amendments which follow it on the Paper in reference to this Clause are consequential upon Amendments moved in the Committee and accepted by the Government. The proposed words are necessary in order to make the Clause run smoothly.

Further Amendments made: In page 5, line 23, after the word "spaces," insert the word "shall."

In line 26, after the word "shall," insert the words "demolish every building thereon."

In line 27, leave out from the word "which" to the word "thereafter," in line 28, and insert instead thereof the words: it is vacated, or before the expiration of such longer period as in the circumstances they deem reasonable, and,"—[Miss Lawrence.]
