§ 73. Mr. SORENSENasked the Minister of Health whether he will consider amending the Asylum Officers' Superannuation 238 Act to allow nurses to receive superannuation after 25 instead of 33 years' service?
§ Miss LAWRENCEThe Act mentioned already entitles a nurse to a pension after 20 years' service if she has attained the age of 50 years. I am sending my hon. Friend a copy of the reply recently given to a question, as to the prospects of legislation on this subject.
§ Mr. SORENSENIs the Parliamentary Secretary aware that a police officer who serves 25 years is entitled to a pension although his labour is far less arduous than that undertaken by male nurses?
