§ The PRESIDENT of the BOARD of EDUCATION (Sir Charles Trevelyan)I am informed that this boy was found at medical inspection to be suffering from a severe defect of the eyes and that he subsequently, with the full knowledge of his parents, attended the school clinic for a more thorough examination. Drops were put in the boy's eyes in the usual way to make the examination possible, but no treatment was given. The parents were then advised that the boy needed
