§ Mr. GREENWOODOn 31st December, 1929, the total number of old age pensions payable in England and Wales under or by virtue of the Contributory Pensions Act of 1925 to persons over the age of 65 was as follows:
Old age pensions to persons 65 to 70 years of age | 511,461 |
Old age pensions to persons over 70 years of age | 363,600 |
Total | 875,061 |
