HC Deb 27 January 1930 vol 234 cc602-3
41. Colonel HOWARD-BURY

asked the Minister of Agriculture when he proposes to make his statement on the Government's agricultural policy?

Mr. N. BUXTON

I would refer the hon. and gallant Member to the answer which I gave to a similar question by the hon. Member for Eye (Mr. Granville) on the 16th December.

Colonel HOWARD-BURY

Is the right hon. Gentleman aware that this is a mere flea-bite of an answer? Is he aware also that for nine months now he has kept his schemes bottled up, and the longer they are bottled up the more likely they are to be useless?

Mr. BUXTON

It was a very long answer to which I have nothing to add.
