§ Mr. CLYNESThere is one such person at present, who was received into custody on 13th June last and is now in His Majesty's Prison, Manchester. This prisoner has not been visited by the official solicitor, who has no duty of visiting prisoners in country prisons.
Mr. HOLFORD WRIGHTAre any efforts made to see whether these persons are given an opportunity of purging their offence, or are they to remain indefinitely in prison?
