§ Mr. GREENWOODI assume that my hon. Friend refers to the Exchequer grant which will be payable under the Local Government Act, 1929, to the council for the year commencing on the 1st April next. It is estimated that the amount of the grant will exceed £120,000. Particulars are being communicated to the county borough council and I will send my hon. Friend a copy of the communication which is being sent to the council.
