Mr. A. HENDERSONCases of British subjects joining the French Foreign Legion are not normally brought to my notice except when appeal is made to me to assist in securing their release. Three such cases have been brought to my notice since June last. In addition, my attention has been called to the case of a fourth British subject who was rearrested in France after desertion from the French Foreign Legion.
