§ Mr. CLYNESI am glad to state that as regards cases of inflammation of the eyes among workers employed in the spinning rooms, which has been the special trouble in this industry, the reports received show that on the whole there has been a marked improvement. This is no doubt due to the steps taken to secure efficient ventilation which it is agreed is the remedy for the mischief.
