§ 42. Sir N. GRATTAN-DOYLEasked the Home Secretary whether it is his intention to change the uniform now worn by the women members of the Metropolitan Police, and to extend their duties so as to cover the work of the Criminal Investigation Department?
§ Mr. CLYNESThere has been no decision as to any change in the uniform worn by the women police or the duties they perform in connection with the work of the Criminal Investigation Department; but the whole subject is still under consideration, as I have stated in reply to other questions.
