Mr. TURTONasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether his attention has been drawn to the proposal of the Turkish Government to abstain from payment of interest on the Ottoman Loan for a period of five yea as in defiance of the agreement the Turkish Government concluded with the bondholders in February, 1928; and whether he will make representations to the Turkish Government, in protection of the interests of English bondholders, requesting that Government to fulfil the obligations of the agreement?
