Mr. LAWTHERasked the Minister of Health the result of the inquiries held recently at Stanhope, Frosterley, and Middleton-in-Teesdale into the question of rural water supplies; and will he seek to expedite matters in order to help these respective areas with their claims in order to give employment and an up-to-date water supply?
§ Mr. GREENWOODThe only application made to me is for Middleton-in-Teesdale. I am not yet in a position to give a decision, but I will decide the matter as expeditiously as possible.
