Mr. A. HENDERSONAs I informed the hon. Member on Monday last, 1868 negotiations are now proceeding respecting all the questions enumerated in the protocol of the 3rd October.

Mr. HENDERSONIt is quite impossible at the opening of negotiations to say when we hope to have a solution. I have already said that when negotiations are complete the matter will be brought before the House.
§ Sir ASSHETON POWNALLWill it be possible for the Foreign Secretary to make an interim statement from time to time as to how these negotiations are going on, as has been done in regard to the Five-Power Conference?
