HC Deb 04 February 1930 vol 234 c1663
Sir NICHOLAS GRATTAN-DOYLE

On a point of Order. May I ask at this point, Scottish questions having finished, whether you will allow an extra 10 minutes or a quarter of an hour, in justice to other Members who have 118 questions on the Paper, in view of the inordinate time taken by the Scottish questions?

Mr. SPEAKER

It is not within my power to extend the time for questions: that is a matter for the House. The hon. Member will agree that Scotsmen are always very thorough.
